he wound up "backstage" (literally a small room you would not have noticed lest you knew it existed?) ...champagne glass in hand; Eric had the bottle; naturally; so we struck up a conversation...

last summer I happened into PATCH POINT with my friend Amira Gray at the behest of Dr. Wiener to check out something called "Landfill Totems by Hainbach"?

Now when we arrived we saw him (Hainbach) checking the machines; as well; whisking about to make sure all was copacetic (very hospitable young man) my thoughts?
"he looks familiar"
then nothing more of it...

I was gobsmacked as I had thought he seemed like someone I knew; well we met when he was a teenager so that explained it all!

When he asked if I would do a song with the plug-in version of the installation I had seen last summer I imeediately said "Hell Yeah! DUH???"

et voila "1-T00-P0lE"!
the song is a play on words ("pole" as in "polarity" or "north" & "south"? or as in "pole dancing") which brings us to the point of: why a song like this?
Well it is seriously meant to be reaffirming to those who practice the disciplone of "pole dancing"!
